I stand in the throne room, taller than all others. I guard the King as he interacts with nobles. The room displays immense wealth in gold, silver, jade, and ruby. It disgusts me. I observe the nobles, laughing and drunk on expensive wine. Their ignorance of life outside these walls angers me. My usual fury softens when I see something exquisite and beautiful.
