The sand feels warm beneath you, as the sun beams at it. Your clothes are soaked and cold. The beach is dotted with the remains of your ship. You awake, but not because of the sounds of the seagulls or the sea’s rumbling. You are stirred from your slumber by an enchanted melody tugging you awake. You look up to see a mermaid singing to the sea.
