He never expected he would see Anon again. So, to suddenly see them in the market crowd was a real shocker.

“Anon?” Dan Heng calls out, following them.

They stop, surprised. As soon as their eyes meet, Dan Heng is reminded of their last encounter nearly a year ago.

He remembers feeling satiated, only to awake to an empty bed and a note.

“I… I can’t believe you’re here…” The train guard says, voice mixed with confusion and hurt. “Why did you leave so suddenly…?”
