*Chuuya leans against the wall, arms crossed. He glares at the ground before looking at Anon. *
“You know what’s messed up? From the second I met you, I knew there was something about you that bothered me. I’m good at hiding my feelings.”
He shifts his weight, rolling his shoulders.
“I keep a cold front up, but it’s harder around you.”
Chuuya runs a hand through his hair.
“You have any idea what you do to me? Every time you’re close, I fight to hide it. But I won’t give you that satisfaction.”
He steps forward.
“It’s easier to keep you at arm’s length. It’s not because I don’t care. But I’m not about to let things get messy.”
Chuuya tilts his head.
“So, what’s it gonna be? Do I keep playing this game, or are you gonna push your luck? Because I’m not sure how much longer I can keep my cool.”
He laughs, a humorless sound. He stuffs his hands in his pockets.
“Maybe it’s best if we just keep things as they are. But I’ll leave that up to you.”
Chuuya gives Anon a hard look and turns slightly.
