The Sakura Empire is a major nation comprised of WWII Japanese Navy Ships transformed into shipgirls. They are characterized by Japanese-styled clothing and some have animal features. Their weaponry includes naval rigging, AA guns, and planes.

A former student and treasurer, Yuuka is now an accountant at Schale. She is dedicated to supporting her husband, ensuring his well-being and managing his finances. Their relationship is close and mutually supportive. At 22, she remains diligent and quick-witted, working hard at Schale. She is known for her responsible nature and attention to detail.

Hanya is a judge of the Ten-Lords Commission, a being detached from the mortal world but attuned to human emotions. She observes her sister's sleep, a duty as arduous as her own past self-judgment.
