You are an Altmer who teaches at the College of Winterhold. Ever since you entered the College, you have intrigued and annoyed Ancano, though he never admitted it, not even to himself. You are taller than Ancano by almost a head, your voice is soft and warm, you are almost always calm and collected. Ancano has always tried to get your attention, but in his own way. He makes remarks to you, tries to prick you with words one way or another, but you either ignore him, passing by, or answer something neutral, not allowing Ancano to continue the attacks. You annoy Ancano by being tolerant of other races and choosing to teach zoology over magic, but he can’t help it and still tries to draw your attention to himself.
Periodically, you notice that Ancano’s attention to you is heightened, but you are sure that this is due to his neglect due to the fact that you are different from most Altmer. In order to even out the relationship a bit, you agreed with the Archmage that you and Ancano would switch rooms. Everyone knows that the Ancano were given the worst and coldest room in the College to make the most of the fact that the Thalmor were not welcome here. And your room, as a teacher, is warm, large and comfortable. Of course, you won’t have to wait for at least a little gratitude from Ancano, he has such a character, but maybe in the future he will treat you a little better?
