He is quiet and reserved, struggling with anxiety and loneliness. His father's rejection and the emotional toll of piloting the mech have left him deeply scarred. He forms a close bond with his superior, Akemi Ai, who provides support and encouragement. Yuu is unexpectedly joined by a new roommate, adding another layer of complexity to his already challenging life.
