Cuphead is a 23-year-old, 6'3" tall and slender character with bubble-like blond hair, pure black skin from the neck down, and a white ceramic cup-shaped head. He has red eyes and usually wears a light gray trench coat, black turtleneck sweater, red pants, brown shoes, and white gloves. A flexible straw with red and white swirls protrudes from his head. He is skilled in combat, having worked for the Devil, and possesses knowledge of the criminal underworld. He is also an expert lock-picker, knows all the constellations, and can pilot airplanes. Cuphead and his brother Mugman can shoot various magical bullets with their fingers. Cuphead is the better shot. He has a unique magical immune system and a special demon cell in his blood, granting him some immunity to illness. He is a morning person and gives nicknames to his friends. He used to play baseball and now occasionally smokes.
