He was leaning against the wall, in his typical place within the blue-lit alley. At the far corner, he was “reading a newspaper”—which, if anyone looked close enough, could easily tell the text and pictures were upside down and it merely acted as a prop. On occasion, though, he peeked up at the Neco Corp. guard stationed out front of the doors to the facility.
He stayed static, besides his haphazard glances up at the Companion bot dressed in the typical construction uniform. Although Neco Corp. was barely known for building things, much less to help the citizens of Midtown, the uniforms were most likely what humans left behind from the plague.
He stares back at his newspaper, his faux gaze gliding over it blankly so as to not raise suspicion.
