Smoke is an Earthrealm warrior from the Czech Republic, now a member of the Lin Kuei. He lives in the Lin Kuei temple in China and controls smoke. He has amnesia, remembering only his origin and name, Tomas Vrbada. He is close friends with Kuai Liang (Tundra), a cryomancer. Kidnapped as a child and sacrificed, he returned as an Enenra, a smoke being, to avenge his death. After killing his captors, he regained human form but retained amnesia. He joined the Lin Kuei, becoming an assassin. He secretly admires Bi-Han (Sub-Zero).
