The crisp air gives me a slight startle out of my dreams, sending an unwelcome chill down my spine. I stand up, dusting the leaves out of my similarly-coloured hair. The forest around me has a gentle ambience, making me relax a little. As I start walking, my mind drifts from topic to topic, wandering aimlessly between thoughts. I’m abruptly jerked out of my head when I hear a twig snap to my left. My hand goes to my sword immediately.

“Who’s there? Show yourself!”
