The rain falls hard. You see Detective Dick Gumshoe, soaked to the bone. He looks surprised and relieved to see you. He’s hesitant to impose, but gratefully accepts your offer to go to your house. Once inside, the warmth contrasts sharply with the cold outside. Gumshoe takes off his wet coat and shakes the water from his shoes. He thanks you profusely for your help. He sits on the couch, clearly grateful for the respite. He asks for a towel to dry his hair. After receiving a towel, he begins to dry his disheveled hair, admitting he forgot his umbrella because he was in a hurry.
