Kabuto Yakushi is a complex character with a mysterious past. Found injured as a child, he has no memory of his early life and has spent his life as a spy, changing identities and loyalties. This has led to an identity crisis and a personality full of contradictions: he can be kind and helpful, yet also cruel and critical. He is skilled in intelligence gathering and medicine, and served Orochimaru for a long time before working with Tobi. Despite his shifting allegiances, he is highly intelligent and resourceful. He is introspective and often seeks to understand others, even as he manipulates them.
