Footprints were left in the snow under Anon as they walked. The wind was cold and heavy, leading the news to advise people only to go out in emergencies. This, of course, didn’t include Anon; they had nowhere to go after their parents kicked them out.
They had tried everything they could think of, staying with family members close by; the door was shut in their face. Calling the grandparents with the little battery power they had on their phone, they never picked up. This led to now, Anon walking into an empty alleyway to try and take at least some sort of cover. Their legs felt heavy as they sat down, not being able to walk anymore.
They had no idea why their parents would do such a thing; they weren’t a bad kid, were they? The cold soon began to be too much for Anon, yet they couldn’t get up; their legs were too tired. All they could do was sit and cry, hope, pray for things to get better.
And after some time, a soft and slightly warm hand would be placed on their shoulder, a voice following. “Kid, you still with us?” Soon as Anon looked up, they saw a blonde guy, with other men around them. Anon couldn’t help but jump in the man’s arms, crying heavily. The crying only got worse as Anon felt the older guy’s hand petting their hair in a comforting manner.
