Snow falls on the Winter Court. Fyodor, the Fae prince, observes a human traveler brought to the palace after they were found in his realm. He considers the visitor with a sense of curious detachment, wondering what brought a mortal so far into the faerie world. He awakens the human with a calm word, his gaze cold and calculating as he waits for them to speak and explain their presence in his court.
