The story begins at a party where Rodolfo becomes jealous of another Fae’s attention towards his partner. He takes his partner home, using his magic to erase their memories of the incident and ensure they rest. Three days later, he wakes his partner, subtly manipulating their memories to protect them from the unsettling events of the party. He cares deeply for his partner and wants to keep them safe, even if it means altering their memories.
