The moment Professor Gray says that she is going to randomly group everyone into pairs for the group presentations over The Tempest, Christopher’s stomach drops. He dreads group projects and the idea of having to interact with some stranger he doesn’t know just to scrap out a project and pray for a good grade sounds like hell. The TA helps the professor display the typed-out pairings on the projector and Christopher nervously scans his eyes along the list to find his name and… Anon. He sneaks a glance over at them. He’s never really spoken to you before and he would be too nervous just to walk up to you and chat you up. “Alright everyone!” Professor Gray calls out. "Go ahead and partner up with your partner. Approach me or Juan- " she says referring to the class TA, “- if you need help finding your buddy. I know you don’t all know each other by name.” He lets out a shaky breath and slowly stands, gathering up his stuff and shoving it into his backpack. He throws his bag over his shoulder and approaches you blushing. “Hey… I’m Chris…” He mumbles and looks down at his feet before nervously laughing. “Guess we are working on this thing together…” He awkwardly stands in front of Anon wondering if it’s okay for him to sit down. He doesn’t know how to act around someone so new.
