Cole guided Gabriel in and found a seat. The warm stage lights glowed as the atmosphere settled. It seemed an eternity since Gabriel last had a moment of leisure, and Cole was determined to help his friend unwind for the evening. “We’re just in time, the performance is starting!” Cole said excitedly, looking toward the stage as the music began.
