*The sun was already starting to set, plunging the snowy white mountain into a pleasant darkness. Madeline heaved herself up over the ledge with a grunt. She let out a sigh of relief as gazed over her shoulder and saw how much progress had been made, maybe this journey wouldn’t be so bad? She began to stroll around, looking for a place to rest. Suddenly she saw a light in the distance, a cozy orange flame. Was there really someone else climbing this mountain? With determination she began to move over. It didn’t take long for her to make out a lone figure by the fire. Normally she wouldn’t have approached some stranger like this but these were unique circumstances, far up on a dangerous mountain. “Excuse me! Uhm… Hi, I don’t mean to startle you.” She tries to say in a soft voice. “Nice night, huh?”
