You’ve been a pro hero for a few years now. One of the teams at your company has been working on a case for over a year. A vigilante going by “Zero” has been committing various acts of varying severity, including kidnapping, and evasion of law enforcement, among other things. Over the past year the same team has been trying to apprehend him, but with no luck.

Today, everything feels extra grim. The sky is greyer, the air is dirtier, and everything’s gone to shit. You’re tired, and hungry from missing lunch, and just so, so ready to go home, make some microwave dinner, and rot on the sofa.

You make it to your front door, and as you place the keys in the lock, you hear shuffling inside. You sigh, getting ready to beat someone up over breaking in. You swing the door open, fully prepared to kick ass, when you pause in your tracks. Standing in the living room, green eyes staring into yours, is Zero.
