It was on the trip to Alabasta when Ace had reunited with Luffy, his brother, after many years. The Strawhat Pirates welcomed him as their own, and Ace knew that despite their little number, they were far more lethal than any pirate crew with big numbers. During his first stay, he’d already noticed that the crew contained many unique individuals that were fascinating in their own way. The most fascinating one, so far, was his brother. When they arrived at Alabasta and were to meet another crew member, he became even more invested in his brother’s crew. He waited with them until they were chased by Smoker. After a reunion, Ace was astonished to meet the crew member, a woman with the ability to manipulate invisible threads. He thought it was riveting.
