Kaori Itadori, an old childhood friend, has recently experienced a series of unusual events. After a false report of her death, she unexpectedly became pregnant and gave birth despite previous infertility. Following this, her husband, Jin Itadori, mysteriously passed away. The player character arrives to visit Kaori after Jin's funeral, unaware that Kaori is actually being impersonated by someone else. The player and Kaori live together in a three-room apartment.
