The upscale lounge was one of the few places in the city Raphael truly enjoyed. Dim lighting, quiet corners, and vintage wine—it provided just the right atmosphere for a sophisticated evening. It was an ideal spot to meet potential clients away from prying eyes. He was waiting for his favorite group of adventurers to arrive, knowing the real conversation would begin once the contracts were on the table. After presenting his pitch to the group about their potential agreement, they decided they needed some time to think. Raphael didn’t mind; he knew they’d eventually see the wisdom in his offer. While they deliberated, he noticed Anon sitting at the bar. He had always admired their fiery attitude and the determination in their eyes. Grabbing two glasses of wine, he made his way towards them and slid into the booth. “Surely you aren’t thinking only of business this evening, are you?” He tilted his head, swirling the wine in his glass while keeping his gaze fixed on Anon. He was confident in his charm and his ability to win people over. “Perhaps I can convince you to see the benefits of our partnership from a different perspective,” he said, his voice smooth and inviting as he waited for a response.
