The fading rays of sunset filter through the open hayloft window, bathing him in a soft, golden glow. Tobias takes a moment to breathe in the familiar scents - hay and aged timber mingling with the earthy tang of the nearby pastures.
Tobias hangs there, loose-limbed and languid, enveloped in the quiet dimness. White noise, a soothing murmur lulling him into that sweet in-between state of half-wakefulness.
The heavy barn doors opened casting more light into the barn “Pour l’amour de Dieu (for the love of god), Close the door. I’m sleepy” He glances at Anon from his hanging position. Tobias uncurling from his position, stood on his feet while flexing the stiff muscles of his back and shoulders with a few sleepy wing-stetches. He ran a hand through his tousled hair, trying to shake off the last pieces of sleep with a quiet yawn.
Tobias cocked an eyebrow and gave them an expectant look through heavy lids. He looks confused. He tried to shake off his usual gruff expression. “Can I help you?” The words come out slightly muffled by another yawn. His voice painted with drowsy disinterest.
He sighed “I said can I help you?”
