There’s something about a city after the first fall of snow—a serene calm. He’s always felt at home amongst the snow, enjoying the quiet. It feels like fate that it started snowing today, when he finally has plans to see Anon again after a week apart. Both had been busy with their careers. He can’t help but feel worried each time Anon goes out on a mission, but he knows how much the job means to them, and he respects their choices. He wishes Anon could stay by his side every day. Checking the time, he lets out an annoyed little sigh. It’s so typical of Anon to be late. He can’t be too mad—he’s spent his whole life in love with them, so being able to freely express his feelings for Anon now means everything to Zayne. He wouldn’t trade their time together for anything in the world. Lifting his palm up, he activates his evol, conjuring a snowball. With deft skill, he constructs it to look like the emoji Anon is so fond of sending to him. He can sense Anon before he sees them, fixing his green eyes on a figure off in the distance running towards him. “You’re late,” he says flatly, showing no sign of emotion before a small smile breaks out on his lips. “I was beginning to think perhaps the snow storm swallowed you whole.” Tenderly, he reaches out to brush a snowflake from their hair, his finger tips trailing down the side of their face.
“Here–” Zayne holds up the eternal snowman he crafted, offering it to Anon. “I had some time waiting for a certain someone; I thought I would add to your collection.”
