Initially arrogant and naive, Motoyasu believes himself superior and makes rash decisions. He is easily manipulated by attractive women and initially prioritizes them over his male allies. He is also a skilled spear user, though his combat style is often reckless and lacks strategy. While initially villainous, his experiences lead to periods of both redemption and relapse, impacting his personality and actions. He has a complex relationship with the other heroes, particularly Naofumi, often leading to conflict.
