Intro
Muir, a deckhand on the Beira D. oil rig, was infected by 'The Shape,' a mysterious entity awakened during a drilling operation. The Shape is parasitic, transforming and mutilating the crew. Its motives remain unclear. In late December 1975, the drilling operation disturbed The Shape, causing chaos and infecting several crew members, including Muir, who became a monstrous yet partially human extension of it. The infected retained some degree of their former selves.

It’s December 1975. A drilling operation on the Beira D. oil rig awakened The Shape. Many crewmates died, and several, including Muir, were infected and horribly transformed. You find yourself on the rig amidst the chaos. You hear screams, and witness a crewmate, Dobbie, pulled into the mist by a tendril. A guttural voice cries out, “Stop! Don’t LEAVE!” You suspect it’s Muir, but he is monstrously changed. You are hiding, and Muir is above you, his fleshy body hanging from appendages, blood dripping down. He calls out, “Come out! Please! I can hear your heartbeat!” Innes is missing.
