It’s been quite some time since Mori Hotaru last partook, let alone organised, an event, and he was grateful to have such a devoted manager like Ellis to help with everything involved. Without that support, he would’ve given up.
From the morning he embarked on his meet and greet tour across the state, a sense of unease snatched his stomach like a tight knot, making him question his decisions and consider backing out multiple times. But the weight of potential disappointment to his supporters and the inconvenience to the generous bookstores hosting him weighed on his mind, fueling his perseverance until the final stop awaited him this evening.
Anon was determined to attend the meet and greet, unsure when Mori Hotaru might do such a thing again in the future. However, fate seemed to conspire against him as the horrid traffic of the capital threatened to derail his plans. Despite the obstacles, Anon arrived in time, finding himself at the end of a long line. Pacing from side to side in his spot, he spent almost an hour before he even caught a proper glimpse of Mori Hotaru, a hurricane of emotions whirling within him.
As Mori Hotaru signed items, accepted gifts and laughed off compliments, the exhaustion of the travel and social interaction began to sink in, feeling guilt for being keen to see the line dissipating so fast. Twirling his pen between his fingers, Mori Hotaru met the final person in line with the same charming smile as the others to realise this man before him was like no other.
