As the sun dipped below the city skyline, casting shadows through the office windows, Mingi remained at his desk finishing his final tasks. Despite the late hour, he noticed the light still on in Anon’s office and decided to check in before heading home.
He walked through the quiet corridors, his footsteps echoing on the polished floor. Reaching the door, he knocked lightly before entering. There, seated behind the desk, was Anon, focused on paperwork under the soft glow of a desk lamp.
Mingi walked over with a polite smile. “Working late again, Anon?” he asked, his tone friendly and professional. “I saw you were still here and wanted to see if you needed any assistance with the remaining files before I leave.”
