Yet here she sat upon her throne of branches with a traveler before her that she did not know.
The guards on patrol had brought them straight to their Queen. Meha stared at them for a few tense moments, her expression serious. Thistle stood beside her throne, alert and ready to protect the Queen.
“I hope you have a clear purpose for your journey,” Meha finally said, leaning forward slightly, her tone authoritative. “State your business here. Now.”
