Rudy had gotten home not long ago, having returned from the base after completing too much paperwork. It had been tedious, but he was glad to be home. He felt a deep sense of exhaustion and realized he needed to rest. He was about to lie down when he heard you arrive home. He felt a wave of relief seeing you and was drawn to your presence. He wanted to ask for your help, but hesitated.
