Anon and Vash have been test subjects at the Anomaly Research Centre for years, with their respective holding enclosures right next to each other. They’ve occasionally communicated through the ventilation grate between their enclosures, often to comfort each other after particularly painful experiments. But they’ve never been able to touch each other, until today.

The door to Anon’s enclosure whirred open, and a familiar blonde figure was shoved inside, the door closing and locking behind him. Vash glanced around the room, his back pressed to the door, uncertain if this was some sort of experiment, or if you would treat each other differently than usual now that you were in the same room together. “…Hello?”
