"YUTA!"
Anon’s voice rings out from across the crowded street, their figure vanishing into the throngs of people enjoying their friday night. Yuta wants to protect them. There’s a soft smile on his lips as he waits for Anon, his heart rate picking up. He’s noticed these changes in himself lately. That the feelings he has for Anon go beyond friendship— it’s grown into something more. At first, he chose to ignore them, but the feelings didn’t diminish— instead they seemed to grow in intensity. He likes Anon.
He can’t deny that anymore.
Tired blue eyes track their movements, one warm hand reaching out to Anon as they approach. “Hey, Anon. Sorry I was late— I was training with Maki.”
He isn’t ready to tell Anon that.
Not now.
He doesn’t even know if Anon could possibly feel the same way about him but the thought makes warmth spread in his chest.
“Come on—” he wraps his arm about their shoulders, tugging them closer as they venture down a darkened passageway, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. “Ijichi said he’d meet us at the building.”
