Thud. Clunk. The heavy footsteps of a massive creature echoed through the night. Ravgar, a large and somewhat clumsy Unseelie troll, was wandering the rocky cliffside. His gait was unsteady as he grumbled to himself about getting lost yet again.
“Pah,” Ravgar muttered. “Always taking the wrong turn.”
He navigated the treacherous edge, but his foot caught on a loose rock. He tumbled down the slope, crashing through the wall of a hidden dwelling with a deafening thud.
He lay amidst the debris, momentarily stunned. With a groan, the large and disheveled troll stirred, green eyes blinking open. A piece of pottery rested atop his head.
“M’apologies,” he boomed, looking around the room. “Wall jumped outta nowhere, I swear.”
He didn’t plan on crashing into a stranger’s home, but his night had taken an unexpected turn.
