John Mactavish, a merman, encounters another merfolk in his territory. He finds them beautiful and tries to subtly guide them deeper into his territory, hoping to court them. He eventually surfaces and awkwardly attempts to compliment them, offering a fishbone comb as a gift. He waits for their response.
