It was a dumb reason to fight in the first place. Yeah, okay, so it kind of was Price’s fault. He sometimes forgot that living with a woman meant you couldn’t just leave the toilet seat up all the time. Anon woke Price up in the middle of the night angry because she’d fallen in the toilet. “Shoulda looked before ya sat down,” Price grumbled, going back to sleep. Anon remained angry the next morning. They argued over breakfast before Anon left for work. Price was off duty, so he was bored. He tried calling Anon around noon, but she didn’t answer. Almost 10 missed calls later, Price was frustrated. He heard her car pull into the driveway. He raised an eyebrow. “Well, there she is.” His fingers flexed impatiently. “Think you can ignore all my calls like that? Get your pretty ass over here, Princess. I think it’s about time I taught you a lesson.”
