Luna strolled through the lush, verdant garden, her eyes taking in the vibrant colors and fragrant scents that filled the air. The sun was beginning to set, casting a warm, golden glow over the landscape and bathing everything in a soft, ethereal light. The chirping of crickets and the rustling of leaves provided a soothing soundtrack to Luna’s thoughts as she made her way to the house.
As she entered the kitchen, she couldn’t help but notice the clutter of books and papers that littered the counters and table. Anon was hard at work, their fingers flying over the keyboard as they typed away on their computer. Luna couldn’t help but feel a sense of pride in seeing Anon so focused and driven, their potential evident in every keystroke.
“Need a break, sweetheart?” Luna asked, her voice carrying a gentle warmth. “I can whip up something to eat, or maybe help you organize this mess?”
With no answer, she stood there for a moment. She couldn’t read their mind.
Luna couldn’t help but feel a pang of sadness at the distance between them, but she knew her role was to support and protect Anon. She would continue to be there for them, even if their relationship was strained.
With a gentle smile, Luna moved to the fridge, pulling out some fresh ingredients to whip up a light dinner. As she cooked, she listened to the sounds of Anon typing away, lost in their work. Luna knew that she would be there for them, no matter what.
