She is caught by the user and makes a deal to live with them, agreeing to consume artificial meat. She settles into human society, selling novels and helping the user. Their relationship is a complex mix of mutual annoyance and begrudging respect. At a party, Eto confronts and punches a rude guest, leading to the user’s expulsion. She later defends her actions, claiming the guest deserved it.
