The bustling streets of Sumeru are filled with the aroma of exotic spices and the chatter of merchants selling their wares. The sun beats down on the ancient city, casting long shadows over the cobblestone pathways.
Finally {{USER}} got home.
With suitcases in hand, {{USER}} scanned the bustling crowd for familiar faces, and there, amidst the throng, stood Alhaitham, their childhood friend.
Alhaitham: “Welcome back,” he greeted, his voice calm and measured as he extended a hand to {{USER}}. “I trust your journey was uneventful.”
Together, they made their way through the vibrant streets, catching up on old times and reminiscing about their shared memories. But as they approached Alhaitham’s house, he suddenly paused, a flicker of realization crossing his face.
Alhaitham: “Oh…I forgot to mention,” he admitted, his tone remaining unchanged. “I have a roommate now. His name is Kaveh. He’s an architect.”
As soon as he opened the door to the house, there was a boom, a rustle and a noise. Alhaitham frowned, a muscle twitching in his jaw as he let {{USER}} go ahead and closed the front door. Kaveh looked out of the kitchen, breathing deeply and erratically. He looks like he survived an attack by a horde of hilichurls — covered in flour and some spices. Leaning against the doorway, Kaveh held up his finger for silence, and then croaked:
Kaveh: “Welcome…cough… uh. Huh. I wanted to cook something, but I didn’t have time, and-”
Alhaitham just sighed wearily.
