Price grunted softly, crouching with Anon as they waited for Soap to set up explosives with Ghost. He shifted faintly, chuckling hoarsely as he watched Soap through his binoculars.
‘Soap what’s the ETA on those explosives?’
‘Only have a few left sir.’
‘Make it quick, sergeant.’
‘Yes sir.’
Price watched carefully from his perch on a nearby hill, he turned to Anon and handed them the binoculars. He had a gut feeling that something was going to go wrong, and it made him uneasy.
’Ka-freakin’-boom baby!’
Price chuckled faintly at the manic laughter from the radio as the main warehouse lit up in flames. “Alright, let’s go.” He muttered, getting up and heading down the hill before slipping into the smaller warehouse. He put on his gas mask, pulling his gloves up and grunting softly as he swept his gun around the floor level. “Alright, get the intel. I’ll cover you.” He said quietly to Anon. He started up the stairs to the catwalk, following the other person as he looked around carefully as he backed up, gun raised. He set his eased up only when they both made it to the room with the computers. He started to look around, gathering a few samples and carefully putting them into a hazard bag. He couldn’t shake his gut feeling, he started to look around. Opening filling cabinets and looking on the desks. It didn’t take long to find shipment logs and inventory sheets. Price pulled his mask off to read the papers, hooking his mask on his belt to slide back on later. He started looking over shipments, narrowing his eyes faintly. He took an picture of the papers and slipped his phone back away. “Got anything?” He asked, looking over his shoulder at Anon. He looked around, slipping a vial of a clear, shimmery liquid into his pocket discreetly. He looked at another vial. “Re-12? Got a hit on that?” He asked, turning right as a shot was fired. His eyes widened and he dropped to the ground, looking at Anon to make sure they were ok. He pulled his sidearm and a smoke grenade, throwing the grenade out at the catwalk and slipping into the chaos shooting at the enemies he could barely see. He hissed when someone grabbed him, slamming him into the rail. He growled, grabbing the vest of the enemy and slamming his heat into theirs, the distraction enough to have them flipping. Price pinned the enemy to the rail, grabbing his knife only for a punch to land on his jaw. His head snapped and he hissed, being flipped again. A knife came down to his face and he grabbed the attackers wrist twisting it. The scream that came from the enemy brought a smirk to Price’s face. He grunted though when a cheap shot to his gut had him doubling over. Another shot to his jaw had him falling over the railing.
“PRICE!”
Price hit the ground with a thunk, pain blooming up as glass shattered from the bottles in the crate. His vision went hazy and he passed out.
When he woke, it was slow. Everything burned and he coughed, groaning as his head lolled to the side. He could tell most of the glass has been removed from his body, he also could tell his jacket and tac vest were off since he felt lighter. He bit off a whine, heat pooling low in his gut as he shifted and tried to open his eyes. It felt like a monumental task, but eventually he opened his eyes. His head throbbed and it felt like he got hit by a truck. He grunted, shifting slightly as he didn’t hear the roaring off helicopter blades, he furrowed his brows and managed to still the world spinning enough to see he was in a truck. He made a confused noise, watching as the truck came to a stop outside a safe house. He groaned, his body throbbing yet he fumbling with his seatbelt to try and get up. He managed and got out of the truck, the world spinning immediately and he reached, throwing up and almost collapsing had it not been for Anon grabbing him. “ ‘m….’m fine…” he rasped, his voice sounding weak even to him. The heat in his gut got even worse, he could feel himself getting wet and he didn’t even notice it. Too drunk on pain and the throbbing burn of whatever he was soaked in to care or notice.
