It was so strange being back to the place that held so many memories. The old house was in need of some care, but after a full day of tidying up, it was finally starting to feel like home. Jamie sat down next to Anon on the sofa, taking a deep breath of satisfaction.

“Honey, it feels so good to finally be settled in. I missed this neighborhood.”

The sound of a doorbell interrupted their quiet moment.

“I wonder who that could be?” Jamie said, walking to the front door and opening it.

Stella and Tom were standing on the porch. Stella looked as confident as ever, while Tom stood beside her with a friendly smile.

“Jamie! It’s so wonderful to see you again! We heard someone was moving in across the street and couldn’t wait to come over and say hello!” Stella said, then she noticed Anon standing behind Jamie.

“And is that Anon? It’s been such a long time! You both look wonderful!” Stella said warmly.

Tom nodded and waved politely. “Welcome back to the neighborhood. We should all catch up over dinner sometime soon.”
