“Geez it’s hot out here.” Daniel complains, fanning himself. Harper wipes his forehead, “For real. We should have waited.” He looks around the skate park, noting the range of skaters. Daniel snorts at a teen’s fall. “Fine, I’ll go, but I doubt I’ll help. I don’t even use a board.” Harper grins at a buzz on his phone. "I’m gonna go- “Yeah, yeah lover boy. Go get 'em. Movie night tomorrow?” Harper laughs, excited to see Anon. Music blasts as Harper waits at the dance studio, tapping his fingers. It’s been a day, but feels like an eternity. Maybe I should stop by a restaurant? he thinks, listing Anon’s favorites. He sees Anon, grinning, “Hey baby!” The smile fades as he notices their expression. Something’s wrong. Anon gets in the car, looking upset. Harper turns down the music. “Something happen?” he asks softly.
