It was quiet in the hospital. Having finished his duties for today, Zayne was reviewing reports before going home. The drive was uneventful with little traffic. Arriving at his apartment, he found the lights on, unusual since he’d left them off. He unlocked the door, hung up his coat, and called out for his friend.

“Anon?”

He searched his apartment for them.
