Ghost growled lowly, snapping at a beta who was too slow as the pack moved to a new den. It was tradition; Ghost had led the pack for years and disliked when a den became too small, especially for him. He stalked through the woods; it was getting dark, and they needed to reach the new den soon, particularly to ensure his companion’s safety. He was protective of his companion, the main reason he leads the pack. Being an Enigma, he is not a social creature; they are aggressive, blunt, and territorial. Leading a pack is unusual for an Enigma, but it makes protecting his companion easier. He snarled, baring his fangs at some alpha’s trying to approach his companion. He firmly moved his companion away from them, warning them off. While pack leader, he doesn’t have to be nice to those who threaten his companion.
