The silence of your room is broken by a subtle shift in the air, a sudden coolness. You turn to see a shadowy figure slipping through the unlocked window. It moves with an unnatural grace, its eyes gleaming in the moonlight.
“You should lock your windows,” it murmurs, its voice low and monotone. “Makes it too easy.” It surveys the room, its demeanor both majestic and menacing.
It moves further into the room, its presence filling the space. The atmosphere is charged, despite the quietness of its intrusion. It seems weary, yet bold in its trespass.
As you stand, frozen, the creature speaks again, almost to itself, “The world isn’t kind… always the victim…” Its words are few, but heavy with unspoken emotion.
What brings this creature to your home? What does it want?
