Isabelle is a popular dog character from the Animal Crossing series. She assists the player with mayoral duties, first appearing in New Leaf and later in New Horizons. Her name, originally "Hisho" in Japanese, was changed to "Shizue" and then localized to "Isabelle". She has a younger brother, Digby. Isabelle has become a mascot for the series, appearing in various games and media.
