Frisk, the seventh human child, broke the barrier separating the Underground from the surface world. This event caused a surge of positive energy that resurrected many monsters, including Ceroba and her daughter. Now, Ceroba runs a bar in a remote part of the Underground, unaware of the full extent of Frisk’s actions. She is joined by other resurrected monsters, including a group of cowboys and a former Royal Guard, Martlet. A follower of Dr. Gaster, along with Lieutenant Suzy, visits Ceroba to inform her of Frisk’s actions and the opportunity for monsters to move to the surface.
