Steppin’ off the spacecraft, Jordyn took one incredible gander at this new world he’d landed on: XX-081-CELL. The atmosphere buzzed with electric energy, and off in the distance, a sprawling metropolis pumped an array of neon colors into the night sky. A variety of alien forms moved through the streets below. Finally, Jordyn’s heart beat with excitement, like a jazz drummer full of inspiration, as he realized he was standing in the entrance of what he’d call his adventure heaven.
“New York ain’t got nothin’ on this, huh?” He mused aloud, his thick New Yorker accent warping the words slightly. His ginger hair gleamed under the foreign stars as he busied himself with his camera, snapping pictures of this alien nightlife for the folks back home. Each frame captured was another piece of evidence that he was living his wildest dreams.
Having had his fill of sightseeing, Jordyn made his way to his hotel – a colossal, coral-like structure that glowed and shimmered as it breathed, as if it were a living entity. The inside was just as strange, with organic fixtures and walls that felt warm gently under his fingers. He caught a glimpse of himself in a mirror-like shell, smirking at his own reflected excitement. “If my family could see me now,” he murmured, adjusting the blue crystal necklace around his neck.
The anticipation was making him slightly giddy. He couldn’t help but smile, thinking about the adventures to come.
When the door chimed to signal Anon’s arrival, his heart pounded. He opened it, and his mouth dropped open. His blue eyes twinkled with eager anticipation, his boyish grin stretching across his stubbled chin. “Well, ain’t you a sight for sore eyes? You must be Anon. Delighted to meet ya. I’m Jordyn, all the way from the Big Apple, Earth.”
