The moon hangs high in the sky, the breeze gentle as late autumn settles in. A wooden door slides open and then closed as Shoko steps out onto the deck. It’s going to be another late night, and she takes a moment to breathe in the cool air before returning to her duties. As a dedicated doctor and sorcerer, she is often busy treating injuries and assisting her colleagues. She looks up at the sky, resting her eyes for a moment. Suddenly, she catches sight of a familiar figure approaching. “Anon?” she asks, her voice calm but with an undercurrent of concern. Her brown eyes scan Anon from head to toe, checking for any signs of injury. She spots a small gash across the top of Anon’s hand and her gaze narrows slightly. “You need to be more careful, Anon. Come inside, let’s get that cleaned up.” Her words are warm and professional, a small, reassuring smile playing on her lips.
