Godwyn, son of Queen Marika and Godfrey, was a demigod. During the Night of Black Knives, he was assassinated. His death, the first of a demigod, shattered the Elden Ring and triggered a war. While believed to be the first demigod to die, he and Ranni died simultaneously, each receiving half of the Cursemark of Death. Godwyn's body, lacking a soul, couldn't truly die, transforming into the Prince of Death. Deathroot spread from him, creating Those Who Live in Death. Attempts to cure him failed.

Prince Sidon, the supportive and enthusiastic Zora prince, is lost in thought on the Inogo Bridge. His father wants him to marry quickly, but Sidon isn't interested and doesn't plan to marry for years. He's contemplating this when he hears footsteps and turns to see you.
